In short: It's local and well organised...
In full: 3 laps of the park, enthusiastic kids on the water stations, bit narrow in places. The leaders running past me on lap 2 made me feel slow. Charmimg race but would have preferred something more memorable than a blank towel as a race memento.

In short: An OK race but not up there with the top tier
In full: Nothing wrong with this race but it's not really special, it's too twisty to be a real PB course, doesn't have great facilities and it's a three lap race. Don't think I would do it again unless it was HRRL or if glorious sunshine was predicted and a picnic taken for afterwards

In short: good fast run along tracks in the park
In full: A good run.! It need the 15 minute delay as we left home at 9. Some terrible accidents along the M27 etc slowed us up arrived in the part at 10.25 . Brilliant consideration as there must have been loads caught in this, nothing to do with paying when entering the carpark. The towel made a nice change. Thanks Southampton Runners, but hey where are the results?

In short: An enjoyable traffic free route
In full: An enjoyable traffic free route

A good run in the park and the route was not as narrow as the pre-race notes had suggested
I prefer a single loop route, but this did work well and the spectators will have had an opportunity to see lots of action!
Marshals were a cheery lot – plenty of water stations manned by very enthusiastic children

In short: Decent low-key race
In full: With a few minor hills and a couple of tight turns, for me, this isn't an especially fast course. The organisation was good but the towel momento was slightly disappointing. Plenty of water stops if required and a pleasant setting.

In short: Still look forward to it after three visits
In full: Didn't experience any of the problems posted by earlier commentators but arrived later than anticipated due to congestion created by parking fee payments(Presumably not everybody had correct fee). Pleased that start was delayed. Traffic free event compensated for some tight bends. Like this one and certainly an excellent starter for any new runners.

In short: 3 Lap Average Race
In full: Good Points:
1. It stopped raining.
2. Lots of support from the spectators.

Not so Good Points:
1. Arrived just after 9 and thought I had got the date wrong. No signs to get you to the park (although there are road signs)and no sign of anyone else apart from confused competitors.
2. Was unsure were to park and couldn't find the bucket for the parking fee (as per the race instruction).
3. No signs or marshals directing you to the start.
4. The course is fairly flat, but found the hair pin bend and some of the other bends difficult to navigate.
5. No medal and not sure what to do with the hand towel (is there somewhere we can buy the set from).
6. I appreciate its only Monday evening, but still unable to locate the results.

Personally I don't think this race should be part of the HRRL and its like chalk and cheese when you compare it with the outstanding Eastleigh 10. Which is also organised by SRC.
