In short: Great marathon training run.
In full: 4 laps of the same thing might seem dull to some, but for a novice in marathon-training it was perfect, I loved knowing what was round the corner. The majority were club runners so beginners be warned you will be overtaken early on lap 3!!

The marshalls were kind and supportive - probably felt sorry for those of us who had to start our final lap after many had already finished the race. It was an unexpected bonus to receive a medal at the finish!

In short: Laps help with pacing, undulating rather than hilly, good mix of abilities

In short: Tough good pre marathon race
In full: Close to where I live - I wouldn't travel to do it but it is well marshalled and a tough challenging course.

In short: Great marshals make for a great day!
In full: A 4 lap undulating course may not be the most inspiring, it is extremely well run and marshalled with people who care and encourage - I would recommend it to anyone looking for a marathon build up 20.

In short: Good marathon preparation, smiley marshalls
In full: The laps were helpful, and it's a good, challenging but fair course. The last mile seemed longer than the others, which caught me out at the end - thought I'd pushed on, suddenly I did a slower mile. Marshalls were excellent - especially the garage-grinners and the bloke with the guitar.

In short: A great pre-marathon race.
In full: A special thanks to the two guitar and singing entertainment marshals, they really made my day. A well working organisation, including real friendly marshals round the track. On the negative side was the uphill water station and it not seems to be a mile between the mile marks.
My wife sends a word; more toilets next time, please.
But overall a great race!!

In short: Very good for Marathon preparation
In full: Excellent run. Marshalls were excellent very supportive and enough of them for all the road junctions. I think the water station on the 'hill' before the roundabout was further on last year? In front of some houses? prob. a better place as trying to drink out of a cup half way up a hill can be a little tricky.. : ) Great to have shower facilities at the end . Also the number of people running is perfect at is is never too busy : ) Started on time too. Excellent. T-shirt instead of a medal may be nice (although more expensive I assume? so may affect the entry fee..?) as wearing a t-shirt to show off about running 20 miles may be fun : )
