In short: enjoyable 4 lap race In full: Not everyone would enjoy doing a 4 lap 20 miler however I found it excellent for pacing & particularly motivating to know I was passing a particular marshal or geographical feature for the final time. Nice looking home made cakes featured at the end. Date of review: April 7, 2010

In short: The mundaneness of the course is challenging but friendly and well marshalled In full: I found the mundaneness of 4 circuits very mentally challenging and was much slower than in the Bramley 20 at the end of Feb. I found the last 5 a real challenge but I have to say I was spurred on by that lady at mile 4 who had stayed out cheering and encouraging. What a star. I thought it was very friendly and well marshalled and despite having a poor run I would do it again. Date of review: March 31, 2010

In short: Great prep for a first time marathoner In full: Well marshalled, clear signage, good traffic control. Sporadic water stations left me dehydrated. Support from lady @ 4 miles was amazing - kids in tow throughout were great too. Race record - Bill Adcocks 1972 - 1hr 39min? Wow.
