In short: Do not underestimate this race.
In full: This is by far my favourite run so far but is also the hardest thing i've ever done. I was not expecting hills of such difficulty as I come from Essex where it is flat as a pancake in comparison. The turbo X zone was very interesting with the nice bog run they threw in for the bargain. Other than when I was a child, I have never had so much fun getting so dirty. Very good support though and other runners were very friendly. Although this took me longer than a half marathon, I will definitely take part again.

In short: very hard & hilly but worth it
In full: This is one of the hardest races I've ever done. I was expecting the mud and water but not that amount of hills. By the time I arrived at the start of the x zone my legs had gone completely and the long drag up to the finish almost killed me.
I'll definitely be back next year.

In short: Hardest race ever!
In full: Really enjoyed this, tougher than a road marathon. Could have done with more water stations though. Excellent goody bag included tech t-shirt.
