In short: Great marshalling and the hill wasn't so bad, although you'll feel it when you finish

In short: Really enjoyable, for my first race.
In full: I would like to say a big thank you to the marshalls who were fantastic with their encouragement. I haven't raced before and have only been running since December last year. This was a great little test for me, a couple of small inclines that were quite challenging. I was aiming for 45 mins and did it in 44:07 so I was very happy with that result. Well organized race, thank you for making my first race a memorable one.

In short: They weren't kidding about that hill!
In full: Overall it was good. Quite chilly but the stewards were all very friendly and full of encouragement. Thought it was a bit mean to start us right on the hill but the long slope down made it all ok!

In short: Well organised local race & friendly marshalls. Gentle up and downhills were a good but constant challenge with 3 laps of the course. Be back next year!

In short: Great race, encouraging marshalls and onlookers, cool t-shirt
In full: Yes, the hills are tough, but the downhills are also really useful, useful enough for me to get a pb at least! Lovely organisers and marshalls plus friendly runners. Good cafe and children's playground close to finish and race hq to keep the supporters happy too!

In short: Nice little trek out on a Sunday
In full: Not the most exciting of courses but at least with the laps, you knew what was coming. I like hills on which I can catch people so I was pleased with my time of 31'39

In short: Satisfyingly challenging
In full: Wonderful marshalls - BIG thank you to all, especially the very helpfully encouraging man at the top of the hill, makes such a difference. Did better than I expected, the hills make you feel like you've worked for it. Really enjoyed the race.
