In short: If it ddn't inspire a non runner they have no soul!
In full: My first race (I'm 46!) a nice flat course with diferent views thro historic Lynn, river views and some town centre activity. Very supportive crowds made the day special. Seemed to be well organised but I have nothing to neasure against! The only thing that worried me was the entry stipulated a (very generous) time limit. Even though I was well able to complete in half the time it did give me the impression it might not be for novice fun runners. How wrong I was and how glad I was to have entered. It was an inclusive event and I suggest it made an ideal springboard for those wanting to dip their toes into the water (so to speak). Even my couch potato wife was thoroughly inspired by the atmoshere and ease of access to different parts of the course so she could see lots of action. Great. Thanks for getting me out!

In short: Well organised great race
In full: This event is getting better every year, so pleased that there was start to finish timing as well this year. Good to have Ron Hill there again this year. Plus a new PB by nearly 30 seconds!

In short: Fast flat course, vocal local support, make this a great race!
In full: First time doing this race and will be back. Excellent pre race organisation, well organised race village in the Tuesday market place, good support all the way round. If other councils are thinking of organising a race then they should take note of how this was organised. Further there was a good mix of club runners and others. An excelent morning out!

In short: Fast, flat course and excellent organisation.
In full: This is a very flat, fast course but you need to be near the front at the start to make the most of it as much of the route is quite narrow which can make overtaking a bit tricky.

Organisation of the event was excellent with very clear pre-race information and the starting area in the Tuesday Market Place was ideal with a very good atmosphere.

Good level of support all around the course which takes you all around the scenic parts of the town. Nice medal and t-shirt at the end.

In short: Great event
In full: An excellent 10K in the heart of King's Lynn. Lessons have been learnt with improved organisation at the start and finish. The crowds were again fantastic, plenty of encouragement for most of the course.

Shame about the head wind along the quay during the last km.

If you live in the area, I would highly recommend taking part. A great race for all levels of runners on a fast flat course. Will certainly be back again next year!
