In short: Friendly set up but casual organisation
In full: A popular well established race in pleasant surroundings which used to have excellent PB potential mainly because it was - but I suspect no longer is - short. I say casual because a key route marshall was missing and I was in a largish group which went astray. Also age group prizes were a bit of a muddle

In short: I can't complain after getting a long awaited PB. I heard some marshalls were not in place, costing front runners dearly. The tight turns at the finish seem unnecessary

In short: A very good all-round event - will definately be there next year.
In full: Many positives, and a race that I would definately recommend to both novices and 'serious' runners alike. Probably the friendliest race I've competed in, in terms of organisers, marshals, by-standers and fellow competitors. Considering the route was well-planned, and primarily on quiet country lanes, it was a shame some impatient locals saw fit to weave their cars (and horse and cart, bizarrely) in and out of the runners... not the organisers fault, though, so mustn't grumble! Oh, and some portaloos never hurt... But I WILL be there next year.

In short: Pretty villages with one long-ish drag up at about 9 miles. Generally a good effort all round.

In short: Let down by poor marshalling
In full: A number of runners near the front and myself missed a turning due to no marshalls on the corner causing a 1/4 mile detour! There were two marshalls on the corner before and two after.
