In short: Beautiful day, although I missed the start!!
In full: Missing the train and getting mildly lost in Petts Wood, We arrived 15mins late to find the start line being packed away!!! Upon learning that there were two late starters, the marshals stayed put and waited for us to pass to cheer us on and offer us chocolate biccies in the woods! Was a really motivating atmosphere and as we sprinted to the finish line we received an amazing reception!! Thank you! ps we didn't come last!

In short: A very worthwhile way to spend Sunday morning!
In full: An excellent event through beautiful scenic woodland, with one or two toughish hills, but nothing too impossible. Organisation was fantastic, with frequent marshalls and very good signposting. A much appreciated banana (in fact a plentiful supply) at the end as well as water and a large medal. The race was further enhanced by glorious weather - although it did turn rather warm (but we'll let the Almighty take the blame for that!). Definitely worth getting up on a Sunday morning for.

In short: Excellent event with excellent orgnisation!!
In full: I have run in quite a few organised 10K events and found this to be one of the best. The organisation and friendliness of all who were organising the event was fantastic. The baggage area was well organised and very efficient, the water stations and refreshments at the finish were well organised and certinly well received after 10K.
The course itself is quite challenging with a good mixture or road and woodland trail running. Throught the course there were large groups of people supporting all who were running with some banging drums!!

Overall this was a great event to take part in as wel as being excellently organised and run!!
