In short: really great race despite the horrid weather
In full: this race has everything going for it - beautiful location, mud, couple of hills up and down, friendly marshalls. Will do it again - its worth travelling to

In short: The best!
In full: Wonderful!!!! My second year running and I love this race. The rain eased off in time for the start and the mud and puddles just added to the fun. Only down side - I was determined that Jerusalem Hill at the start wouldn't beat me but it did and I had to walk half of it, dammit (turned out I missed out on a PB by 47 secs)! Beautiful views of the castles and the countryside kept the mind occupied, terrific organisation with happy smiling efficient marshalls, and a superb T-sirt at the finish. Roll on 2009's race!

In short: My first race - great fun - muddy, wet and hilly - a great intro.
In full: Really enjoyed it- cold before start, warm up in coat was essential. Didnt know the course but well flagged and very helpful, enthusiastic marshalls all the way round - thanks guys & gals. First hill was unexpectedly long and hard but felt good at the top and after that it was undulating but not to hard. Very wet and muddy in places and really enjoyed it. Thank You YTRRC - I will return.
