In short: Fantastic atmosphere and what a challenge! The seven sisters is something to behold. A wonderful feeling of achievement at the end. Recommend anyone to do it at least once in their lifetime!

In short: Oof those hills beyond 20 miles!!! Well worth doing if only once!!! THE XC marathon
In full: Amazing to think that the winner did it in 3 hours!!! Spectacular views and well organised. Glad that this year it didn't rain - quite windy on the exposed hilltops and cliff edges. Good spirits all round. Would never thought that I'd run 17 miles for a sausage roll and a cup-a-soup!!

In short: Brilliant event for runners, joggers & walkers!
In full: This was my 4th time & the weather was perfect, meaning quicker times.
When everything works like clockwork & the orgaisers have everything sewn up, it's difficult to suggest improvements. I will though! - The first drink station after 8.8miles is a little too far for some & the medal at the end was the same as previous year's. I'll be back for more.

In full: I'm glad this was the first race in the 'triple' weekend. Found the whole thing tough but probably because I got carried away at the start and didn't fuel properly during the race. Had cramp all the way through the Seven Sisters which made it even more hell then it is - will probably go back again though!!!

In short: I hate off road and yet this is my second time at this one.Sueprb event.Loads of hills.Loads of views.loads of food.DO IT!!!!!!!
