In short: What can I say but FANTASTIC!
In full: Once again despite the sweltering conditions this was an absolutely fantastic race, the problems of last years t-shirts have been sorted and this is now on it's way to being one of the best in the country.

And despite the hot weather and the killer hill at the 12 mile point I somehow managed to squeeze out a PB… :o)

Roll on next year…

In short: In a word, superb!
In full: I can't rate this race highly enough. Was it tough? Oh yes! Was it good running conditions? Certainly not, unless you train in Africa. Are you going to get a PB on this course? Only if you're superhuman!
But the organisation and the support were second to none, fantastic race, great prizes and the people spectating were probably the best I've experienced. I ran my slowest half by a long way but I still really enjoyed it! I'd like to personally thank the young lad who handed me an ice pop at 10 miles (that got me through the last 5k!!) and all the people out with their hoses, life savers!!
Back next year? Oh yes! I'll just remember the sun cream, next time!! :o)

In short: Hot ,Hilly , Hard !!!!!!!
In full: 4th time I have done this race so you think I would better prepared each year but this year my prep was all wrong and to add to my misery I forgot to apply sun cream so I got burnt quite badly. My sub 2 challenge died at six miles as I ran out of energy. But my grumbles aside the support was great as always, the hills were tough as always, A big thanks to the people with jelly babies and to the people at the top of Milton Road with the garden hose brigade which was most welcome to the nightmare I was enduring and the support at the finish was excellent !!!
Had a bad run but hey guess what ??? Yep I will be back for another crack next year !!!

In short: Superb introduction to hills!
In full: I love hills - and this has plenty of them, but don't let that put you off - there are more than enough downhils to make up for the up's! A wonderful event, great fun and challenging in all the right places.
