In short: Good race generally, very good cakes at finish. Poor organisation at start.

In short: Good fast course, shame about the start
In full: First time running this course. Start was a bit confusing, and the initial loop around the houses was Mickey Mouse - dodging in and out of cars, and some runners short-cutting on the corners. However, once this was out the way it proved a good course and well marshalled. The cross-country bit towards the end was sapping, especially as I turned my ankle just before the start (still managed a PB though)! The horse brass is a nice change from medals or T-shirts. Will be back next year, though, as it is nice to do a local run without too much travelling needed.

In short: Good fast race mainly on road. Bit of confusion at start though! - results posted super quick!
In full: Great race. PB potential for sure. Mainly on roads but a bit off road at the end - I certainly noticed it but only becuase it was at the end. There did seem to be a bit of confusion at the start - where it was and what way we were headed.

In short: Good "small" event, flat and fat and the cake stalls - wow!!!
In full: Good small race, flat and fast course - although a bit more testing over the "off road" section. Recommend for beginners or for a first 10k and a nice horse brass momento for all finishers. Exceptional results service, published on the web before I got home!
Areas to look at next year, a better signed or marked start line, portaloos - there just ain't enough toilets in a small primary school!
Highly recommend the event.
