In short: Very popular, well supported all around the course, few hills but nothing too bad - always a fun event

In short: Good half with lots of support but expensive
In full: A relatively easy course. As others have said the start is a bit narrow in places and beginners starting to far forward and then walking after half a mile. Very expensive and no t-shirt but good medal. Goody bag hardly worth the effort to carry, more leaflets advertising products than anything useful. Will do it again as its my local run and there is always lots of vocal support all th way round (half anyway)

In short: there are other races i'd rather do
In full: usual complaint i guess is that there are too many people. But it gets the supporters out. The route could be mroe exciting some of the bits through suburbs and stuff is better than GNR but not great

In short: A well organised race with clear parking arrangements (if you turn up early enough) or good bus links from train and bus station etc. Nice big field for first half - extremely well marshalled. Second half flat, fast but less supported by spectators.

In short: Enjoyed this more than the Great North Run - much easier with the start & finish being in the same place.

In short: For every up there is a down (hill) Great support all round the course and less crowded than Great North.
