In short: Rip off and far too many runners for course
In full: Where should I start?
£24 entry for affiliated runners, plus a further £13 for a t-shirt, i.e. £37 and the organisers donate £1 to charity, but kindly offer you the opportunity to donate more. £1 donation from a £37 fee - very mean!
Far too many runners for the course - 10,000 plus runners on a meandering track through city centre parks on 7ft wide footpaths with numerous 90 degree bends - it doesn't work
OK if you don't mind your race being defined by the heavy traffic all the way round, don't want to find a consistent pace, you are happy spending 2 hours getting out of the city by car afterwards and you think £37 is good value for a half marathon.
Try the Worksop half instead.

In short: Well organised and supported race in a good City
In full: The organisation was great, the support especially in the first half was fantastic. The course was good, the first half had a couple of small climbs, but second half was tough with a headwind in parts and the watersports section dragged on. Not a PB course, but still very good and showed off Nottingham in a very positive light.

In short: Great atmosphere first half, strange when the course splits - I ran on my own for 2 miles before running around the monotonous water park, I'll be back though, but where was my t-shirt!!

In full: my local race and one I have done many times. It has grown over the years but remains a well-organised race. Just dipped under 4 hours - so that was good

In short: Big cock up from the organisation of Robin Hood
In full: Crowded start, Poor car park facilities in queue for an hour to get to the race. Toilets were well positioned although only cause I used my initiative did I realise by going to the far side toilets you didn't have to queue long. Course was nice/challenging I only found out how bad the organisation was cause I had to pull out. I waited for 45 mins I was only 4 miles from start when i was told someone will sort it out in a minute. The sweeper van picked me up and then told me they were going round the whole course. I had a bad calf strain and when walking to the finish to see where my GF and Dad was (doing race) I was told to run it would be quicker !!! Never do this race again queued for 2 hours to get out of the car park too many people doing this
