In short: A great off-road race - good fun, interesting, good as an intro to "adventure" running.
In full: I had a great time doing my first "adventure" race - (although no navigation skills required). You never quite knew what was round the next bend - and the lake we had to run through actually made me laugh! It was the toughest 10 miles I've ever run, but I crossed the finish line with a smile on my face.

In short: I ran with a cold but hell it was worth it!
In full: The race's greatness is in its unpredictability. It went so quickly I found it hard to believe (except after checking my watch) that it was 10 miles. Brilliant fun, real challenge, bloody freezing, aching knees, it's on my list for next year!

In short: Easy to not adequately estimate this race...
In full: Purposely held back as it was my first one...could have trained harder (More hill work) and pushed myself more. Nevertheless, good challenge and warmup for the TG in January.

In short: One hell of a race, one hell of a time, will I do it next year? Hell yes
In full: Mile markers could have been useful, but then again the uncertainty added to the overall experience so the jury is out on that one
