In short: A privilege to take part.
In full: Brilliant off-road run through varied terrain with great views.
As a first time fell-runner it was unclear if I needed to carry compass, waterproofs etc. with me.
Queue for race numbers at the beginning delayed start. Appeared to be lack of water at first (7mile) drink stop. Next time will carry water pack.
Route description unclear but okay if someone to follow. Map route in race pack would be definate advantage or OS national grid refs.

Excellent atmosphere, friendly marshalls, brilliant value, superb course, good facilities and post race refreshments. Thanks for a great day!

In short: Good race, good food
In full: Great scenery, and a friendly race. Not too impressed about having to queue 45 minutes to collect my number, why weren't they sent out in the post prior to the race? Other than that, no complaints and the beef stew was excellent
