In short: Mud mud mud mud mud !!!!!!!!!!!! Love it
In full: Really challenging course, plenty of hills and plenty of puddles. Really friendly crowd, and the cake - wow - I stand by my claims that I was entitled to 5 pieces due to large hills and deep puddles. Definatly back next year.

In short: Fantastic race, well organised and a brilliant, but tough, course.
In full: The new course was a toughy and despite a couple of reccys it appeared to have got boggier over the past couple of weeks. I crashed and burned a little after setting a good pace early on, but the support from marshalls, runners and spectators was fantastic all the way round.
Next year I'll be back for another go.

In short: Muddy, hilly and tough - and 15 miles! But friendly, with beautiful scenery and unlimited cake at the end. What more could you want?
In full: I love this race. I travel up from London every year to see if I can finally get the better of those fells. Still haven't managed it, but I never leave without a smile on my face to go with all the mud on my shoes. I'll be back for more next year!

In short: Hard course but best race I have ever done
In full: This was my first proper off road race, and I absolutely loved it. It's definitely not a PB course (15 miles, not 13.1, and the route is tough - hilly and very boggy), but this race isn't really about times. The organisation is fantastic, and amazing value for £10 - great race, friendly marshalls, t shirt, soup and cake at the finish. The course is mostly well marked - I went wrong once but don't blame the organisers for that. The atmosphere is great and the hills were really not as bad as expected, it was the bog that got me! Can't wait for next year - this has now become my favourite event.

In short: so many hills, so many miles - for a half!
In full: great weather, cloudy, cool and breezy most of the way. Boggy and slippy in places but not lethal with care and pretty much a good effort - I actually enjoyed it.
