In short: chickened out of the full this year, but once again a great event.

In short: More of a fell race than a half marathon.
In full: I did the half and thought the organisation could have been better as the route was not always clearly marked and there were only 2 drink stations serving only water. Overall the race was good value but no permanent memento such as a t-shirt was offered and the half marathoners didnt even get a certificate! Amazing scenery as it was a clear day but the terrain had everything including bogs, steps and part of it was along what looked like a small stream!!

In short: Fantastic, a marathon for £8 with hot food and free showers. How can you not think that's brilliant value! Some people!

In short: New to the event, did the full. Good course but marking was poor between 9 and 14 miles. Would have been lost but for following someone who'd been round before. Got better towards the end but you still need a map to be sure.

In short: well marked out course , friendly marshalls, car parking at the start/finish was "find somewhere" would have been nice to have had someone directing you to available spots as its the last thing you need when its your 1st visit
