In short: Good event and course but some people could of been more helpful to beginners

In short: Fantastic race, very well organised
In full: This was the second year I'd run this, attracted back by the excellent organisation and challenging course. It didn't disappoint, once again very well organised, friendly race. Ok so the hill at 8k is not much fun, but it's a challenge! Keep up the good work with this one, it's appreciated!

In short: Friendly and undulating!!
In full: First timer at 10k and at this popular local event. Yes there are inclines but with enough training they aren't too bad.
Marshalls really cheer you on and a surprising number of locals considering you run out in the sticks. Very well organised and great change to have a medal rather than another t-shirt....Mars bar was ace too :)

In short: Interesting course though congested at times
In full: Some problems when the faster runners try to lap the slower runners on the narrow lane. Not helped by earphones-wearing runners not hearing requests to keep to one side.
Otherwise an enjoyable race.

In short: great race-will definately be back for a 3rd time
In full: This is a very well organised and friendly race. I have run two years running and both times I think it would be difficult to pick fault with any element of the organisation.
My only word of warning is that it is quite a challenging course for complete beginners as the hills are quite tough and I struggled the first year I did it. Having said this, there are lots of friendly marshalls so cheer you on and keep you motivated along the way.
