In short: Great local race, good support, organisation, bonus doughnut!
In full: As I live locally had the opportunity to test out the course several times prior to the race so I didn't find the hills particularly challenging and I really enjoyed the event itself, had a great race, loved the locals cheering you on at ally park and the quality t-shirt & doughnut at the end was an added bonus! Only small gripe is the inaccurate course distance and timing, but generally a good race for everyone, will be back next year!

In short: I didn't get the doughnut nor the T-shirt... Must have been so thrilled with my time that I ran home as soon as I crossed the finish line !! We'll have to do it next year

In short: excellent support all the way from start to finish
In full: Quite a testing course, lots of obstructions to avoid and some tight corners,(musn't forget to mention the hills). Overall this was a special local community event, pleased to have been a part of it. Definitely do it next year. Anyone know about official times and places?

In short: Great run through my local area
In full: This is a really nice run - lots of local support, all abilities, plenty of added extras (like the dougnuts and drinks) and a good tie-in with the fete in the park. Thanks.

In short: Great atmosphere. Lovely family day
In full: Excellent marshalling/policing for the area and good general organisation. Only gripes: no chip timing, and I'm not sure about having the water station at the bottom of the hill! Great atmosphere though & the kids events afterwards make it a lovely family day.

In short: Great atmosphere great crowd a really well organised event.
In full: This is my 2nd Hornsey and will not be my last by a long way. 2 years ago there were some complaints about the finishing funnels but this year there was no problem, the organisation was nothing short of excellentand that includes the marshalling and policing. The run is tough as the terrain and topology changes and the hill climb 2nd time around hurts like hell but the support is terrific and spurs you on.

Undoubtedly the best part is the crowd not only along the route but also at the finish, everyone is upbeat and friendly and I have never seen so many families at an event and yes, the dougnut at the end is very worthwhile :).

My only gripe is that despite the entry fee we still had to pay for storage at the YMCA, although the money did go to charity, my concern was that I only travelled with some change on me.

Definitely one for the calender, we'll be there next year.

In short: My first 10k for 20yrs I loved it!
In full: Ran with a friend and started at the back which meant passing lots of people and feeling really good about myself. Lots of support throughout but really would have needed more water if it had been hotter. Finish was not great, the clock actually stopped working so many who finished didn't get a time or correct position.
But I still enjoyed the race - my kids did too!

In short: Friendly community event
In full: This is my favourite event in the calendar. Everyone is friendly, the organisation is impeccable, the hills are hard but the donut at the end makes it all worthwhile.
