In short: The best race I've done so far.
In full: This is my first taste of adventure running in the UK. Not as tough as the alpine slopes of Norway but only the Brits could throw themselves into bogs and wetlands with some much humour. Bring on next year!

In short: A Fantastic Fun Race
In full: A great change from ordinary road racing, now I am hooked, the memory of the runner in front of me disappearing up to chest level will stay with me for a longtime. It took three baths to get clean!!!

In short: My first race - I now want more!
In full: This was hard! It was the hills throughout the course that made it this way for me. By the time I reached the dunes at the end they were a relative cinch!

In short: Good organisation, tough climbs, a bit expensive
In full: First time at this event. I recommend it to anyone; serious and fun runners. I've done most of the 'mad' events with enticing names and rate this as being one of the top events of its type. Organisers could dispense with the theatrics at the start. Silly and potentially hazardous with the smoke in a mass start. The 3 miles of flat tracks from the start was a welcome warm-up for the hills. I've done most of the course in the Adventure race series, so was well aware of what to expect. Give it a shot, you'll be glad that you did.
