In short: Roller coaster ride through parks, roads and off road trails. Very hilly so no chance of a PB. Great fun

In short: Bring back the medal for all finishers!
In full: 2nd year doing this race & it still had it's small friendly charm to it.

To echo what others had said, the medal/mug situation was disappointing, I'm glad it's not just me who wasn't keen on the mug!! I feel it would have been a lot fairer for those who entered early to get the medal or at least have the choice, instead of doing it the other way round.

In short: Tough but enjoyable race
In full: Friendly atmosphere but a tough course. This is the 4th year I have run it and it has not got any easier! The Marshalls are great and there are plenty of water stations. All abilities are welcomed.

My only complaints are I would have like a medal rather than a mug. Also there was not a real goody bag this year, previous years we got a t-shirt etc. Also at the start line when we were running through the field the finish line set up was in the way and we had to run around it!

In short: Another year, another hot race! Shame about the medal/mug situation at the end.
In full: Although this was again a great race, and hopefully not the last despite the organising committee passing over the reigns after 25 years, it was a shame that not all finishers were allowed a medal. Those who had entry numbers from 1 - 350 received a 25th anniversary mug while the rest got medals. Perhaps those of us who got our entries in early could have received both. Just a little grumble but I know I wasn't the only one at the end who was a little disappointed with this decision.
