In short: For a first time of running this was an excellent race . . obviously staged by runners for runners as everything had been thought of.
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this race around the South Gloucestershire hills. Well done to all concerned. Great idea to stage an alternative to Bath and it deserves to succeed and if today is anything to go by then it can't help but do so.

Liked the goody bag with it's Hogweed Half woolly hat memento . . hope I can still find it come the autumn!!

Prize for 100th runner a nice touch (although I finished 50th so perhaps the organisers could consider broadening this aspect of the prizes on offer).

Only fair to add that I'm an interested party as I'm a Hogweed . . but I live 100-ish miles away and wasn't involved in any aspect of the organisation.

In short: Forget Bath with its industrial estates. Run the HHH and take in the glorious countryside (oh and some big hills along the way). Challenging course. Well organised. Nice goody bag. Good atmosphere back at HQ. Free massage. Nuff said.
