In short: A thoroughly enjoyable 5 mile run, in the countryside, for a Saturday afternoon.
In full: This was my first time at this event, having not raced for a while. It was a very enjoyable run and a very pleasant course. It was fairly flat, around country lanes, with some nice views of the surrounding countryside. There is also a fete at the school with stalls and refreshments making it a very enjoyable afternoon out for all the family. It was well organised and very reasonably priced, with a good quality t-shirt at the finish.
Overall, a very enjoyable run and afternoon out with friends who pursuaded me to run this race. I am wondering why I have never done this event before, but would definately run it again.

In short: Charming little race, and a great afternoon out. What's not to like?
In full: Really, really enjoyed this race - my fourth time at it, and I intend to make it a regular in my race calendar every year.

Very pleasant run through the countryside, undulating course so not really PB territory but nothing that hideous either. Lovely downhill section in the last mile and a flat, fast section at the end.

I disagree that this is an expensive race, I've always thought that a pound a mile is reasonable, plus another two quid if you get a t-shirt. And this was a good quality t-shirt that I will be able to wear for some time.

Another big plus for me is that there is always a mix of abilities; I much prefer this to 'clubby' races. And I love that it is part of the fete as it makes it a nice afternoon out for friends and family to come along. Nice that so many of my friends were there, and was able to celebrate with a cake and a burger at the end!

Thanks again Wootton Bassett Hounds, see you again next year.
