In short: Great route finding all the sand, mud and hills on Hankley common!
In full: A very well organised cross country race in great company i shall certainly be back for more of the same next year and will encourage my fellow club members to run next year - that is the ones who are fit enough.Like others have mentioned it would have been nice to have the race details on the medal.I must say how well the course was signed and marshalled especially with all the hard work that must have been put in with the Halloween theme markings. In short well done to everyone who organised the event.

In short: Great course shame about the medals and lack of prizes for £14!
In full: A fantastic course, well organised and on a par with the Surrey Slog!
It was a shame the medals did not name the event and simply gave the name of the running club that organised the event. At the price, prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc would have been welcome.

In short: Great atmosphere, Great organisation, Great course, Great costumes and signs
In full: A toughish cross country course, not for beginners. The organisers and marshalls really went to town on the Halloween theme which made the course a lot more interesting. I certainly recommend the race

In short: A unique and enjoyable run. TRY IT - You'll love it !!
In full: It's a cold, soggy October morning and you're comfortably tucked up in bed. Why on earth would you drag yourself out of bed, go down to the woods and run up a series of steep sandy hills .. ?! Here's why …

1) Scenery - Hankley Common is recognised as one of Southern England’s most attractive stretches of countryside and rightly so. The autumn colours make for some sumptuous views – even in overcast conditions.

2) The Course - A great mix of terrain and hills keep the run varied and interesting. Furthermore, it’s challenging enough for the fanatics yet manageable for the sane.

3) Organisation - I found the course to be well marked, well marshaled and well thought out. Nice touch with the Halloween gear too.

In short; a unique and very enjoyable run. I would have no hesitation recommending this event to runners of all levels.

In short: A brilliant trail run, you will never want to run on roads again
In full: Being a convert to trail running this was a real gem. Easy to get to, park at the start, low key and friendly but a gorgeous route, very hard but very enjoyable. Running down a hill at the finish was the perfect finale. Great organisation and congratulations to the organisers, very supportive. This is what trail runs should all be about and I will definitely be bag for the slog half marathon in July.

In short: A great old fashioned cross country race.
In full: Lots of hills and sand on this 10 miler. Friendly and well organised marshalls. Had no trouble with the markers and directions.
A definite race to mark in the calendar. Let's hope for some sunshine next year for to make a perfect event.
Would like to have seen a halloween themed medal - maybe next year.
Well done everyone for a great run.

In short: A great rugged friendly XC race with a spooky theme and a few ups and downs! Very well organised event.
In full: A very enjoyable, friendly, no frills xc event. Excellent well marked and marshaled course with great Halloween touches en route. Thanks to all the organisers, marshals and encouraging children with Halloween goodies. It would have been great to receive a specific medal to mark the event......and prizes for the winners. Other than that - fantastic!
