In short: Great support from marshalls and good goodie bag makes this an overall fab race
In full: Dont enter expecting to see much of the 'town centre' as in the name as you run 2 laps of the suburbs. however the support was good and the small area at the start of the race with the lucozade stalls were a nice touch. great goodie bag and even lots of photos available to look at online. great race and would enter again.

In short: 1980's style Town Centre Road Race
In full: Excellent bag stacked full of goodies at the end, if that was minus the hill glad I didn't come last year! Great race though, but why oh why mile markers in a kilometer race?

In short: Very friendly, fantastic organisation and marshalling. Undulation a bit tough for me for a pb, nice goody bag.
In full: Loved the extras of the Lucozade/High 5 freebies which weren't limited. Samples worth the entry price alone!

In short: Friendly marshalls, 2 lap circuit made the smallish hills seem bigger as you knew they were coming round again!.

In short: The big hill might have gone but the course was still challenging! Strange that there were mile markers but not kilometres?

In short: good, challenging course in pleasant urban surroundings with excellent marshalling and admin
In full: New, faster course provides a fresh challenge. Excellent mashalling support on the course for all runners must make it one of the most welcoming for beginners and slower runners alike

In short: Very challenging for a relative novice as parts were rather hilly. Lovely downhill sections made up for it!

In short: Not quite as flat as suggested
In full: Removing the big hill has meant running mainly through the leafy suburbs which are still undulating and a bit boring but what with current traffic restrictions understandable. Harrogate is always worth a visit though, even when it's wet. Organisation fine with very good and numerous marshalls around the winding course and a decent goody bag. Arriving early enough means never having a problem parking and the results are on http://www.ukresults.net/2009/harrogate10k.html
