In short: Strange thing about this race is it comes out very fast even though it has a couple of fairly stif hills in it. Worth a look though.

In short: Great race every year!
In full: 5th time at Overton and somehow managed to post a 30 second PB despite that hill! Always a well organised and well-supported race with a good atmosphere- think I'll be back a few more times yet!

In short: Wonderful Village Race
In full: I love this race, brilliantly organised, great marshalls, friendly locals and a beer tankard that has already been pressed into service. I would reccomend this run to anyone from first timer to racing snake.

In short: Enjoyable, well organised run
In full: Well supported and organised race. More hills than I expected but nothing too bad and with two laps at least you know what's coming. Really liked the Saturday afternoon start and the refreshments and facilities at the Recreation Ground.

In short: Undulating
In full:

A lovely 2 lap course in undulating North Hampshire.

Great pre-race atmosphere in the field with bargains to be had at the Alton Sports shop tent

I am not a great lover of hills and this is as hilly as I like a course to be – challenging but not spiteful!

Locals and marshals were encouraging

Nice glass tankard at the finish

In short: Up and down and lots of fun
In full: Nice to see that the organisers had flattened out the course this year! Seriously, it's funny how the memory always makes this race seem more challenging than it actually is.

Firsat lap is great to plan strategy for second half. All in all a decent warm up for the Autumn.

In short: Excellent race, well organised.
In full: Great organisation, thanks to the marshalls and police for a very well organised event. Only gripe was the first mile was a bit congested. Nice beer glass, which came in handy in the local pub afterwards. Will definetely run this one again.
