In short: Well organised, though course a bit twisty in places and inconveniently placed bollards to dodge around
In full: My first ten mile race and a good one to choose - but includes a lot of bland industrial estates. Very much a club runners race, but would be a good for beginners too as the course is pretty flat.

In short: First race and enjoyed it. Very friendly bunch of people - made it worthwhile. Windy at times and undulating - lots of subways to go down and up. Well worth doing if you are local.

In short: Slower circuit but still a fast course and well organised
In full: Always enjoy doing this race. Though this year the number of twists and turns started to make me dizzy. Also think the course should take in the town centre, though I guess there are marshalling issues there!

In short: Sound race - twisty course!
In full: new course had it's good and bad points - barely any traffic and nice for spectators but dull and too twisty in points. Marshalls very good and supportive as always.

In short: A new course but still uninspired!!! Few more 'hills' than previous course so it felt slightly slower or am I getting slower due to old age!

In short: Overall not a bad race, the undulating surface saps your strength, but there are plenty of long flat straights to pick up the pace.
In full: I thought that the organisation at the start was fairly poor, it wasn’t clear where the start was and when we did find it I wasn’t sure which way we would be running until the gun went. A plus side is that there is plenty of parking near the start.

The course was very well marshalled, I felt safe running the whole route, which leaves you free to concentrate on getting that pb. The marshals offer words of encouragement and cheered you along (one of the best things about the race)

WGC has some great scenery but unfortunately this race didn’t take any of it in. This town has huge potential for a great race, 2006 was okay, if the route was changed 2007 could be fantastic.

In short: A good first 10 miler
In full: A good race with lots of marshals shouting encouragement along the way. Very twisty turny course up and down the paths and subways of WGC, but traffic free and ffiendly competitors made for a decent atmosphere

In short: The Grand Tour of Estates
In full: Very well marshalled & superb support from St John's Ambulance. I understand this year was a new route to be mainly traffic free; however, it did prove to be more than repetitive groundhog day loops of housing/industrial estates with a fair few twists and turns. Oh and the gate from the school and the bollards (oh, the bollards!). Nevertheless, it was very nice to run in company when clocking up the mileage.
