In short: Nicely organised road race
In full: Run by my local club so I am biased. Relativly flat, though not completely. There are several underpasses which act as mini hills and one short hill which makes you puff a little. I was happy with my time which, perforce, was a PB. Goodie bag included bottled water, banana, currants, and crisps. There were cooked food and drinks for sale from the kitchen and cakes, etc. I didn't have to queue for toilets. Medal and ribbon were anonymous - nothing to identify the date, event, or location.

In short: Quick well organised local 10 miler (2 laps)
In full: Not everyones cup of tea some runners in our club it was a championship race delibrately avoided this. It was flat right amount of people and started by Bob Wilson ! Nice time a bit boring on the scenery positive improvement on the Nike 10k at Wembley though.

Good for a PB

In short: Well organised, encouraging, definitely do again
In full: Very well organised, encouraging marshalls, nice touch with the screen near the finish line to check your time. Thanks all, managed to beat 1:30 for the first time, so I'm happy

In short: Well organised by GCR
In full: Apart from the hold-up at that gate just after the start, it was an excellently organised race. The scenery wasn't great but there were plenty of marshals, water stations, and encouragement during the race.

In short: Mixed feelings about this one. Well organised and marshalled but really dull route. .
In full: Also let down by poor goody bag - salty Tescos crisps and bottled water.

In short: So well organized with plenty of water stations
In full: First time I'd done this one and thanks to this site I knew the scenery wasn't going to be good, however everything else was in my opinion excellent. I even enjoyed the twists and turns and subways. The two lap course did mean that you passed the water stations twice which meant four stops for water (always good). It was nice when names were announced as you went through the finish added to the already good atmosphere.
Must add that the food at the end was excellent.
Well done to all who work so hard to organize this one.

In short: Well organised, medal for finishers, results online that evening, so all the basics covered
In full: The course isn't the most picturesque, but as a race goes it is well organsed. Good for supporters able to see runners at the 1, 5 and 9 mile point without moving more than 50 yards. Twists and turns a plenty but pretty flat and excellent marshalls

In short: Well organised event, not one for the scenery but fast time potential
In full: The route has changed since I last did the event and although it's still no more scenic, it is very well marshalled and lots of twists and turns so no long sections to slog it out. Could be one for a PB and so would recommend as a good post-summer holiday race to get you back into shape for autumn half marathons

In short: Extremely well organised 2 lap race
In full: Good well organised race and the support from the marshalls was excellent. Scenery was a bit disappointing but on whole not a bad race.

In short: Nice friendly race with bacon butties and lots of cake for all your efforts!
In full: I haven't raced this distance in quite a while but it is quite fast so thrashed my pb Someone mentioned "good hills" but they ought to try the Buntingford 10 for those! A race for more long distance runners but it was nicely organised and the marshalls were helpful, encouraging and friendly. Would definately recommend this one unless you are a complete beginner.
