In short: Start well organised, finish stunning. However two lap course made race somewhat boring.

In short: you'll be around the second time before you know it
In full: it's a fast course bit a hill near start of each lap but nothing else good for beginer as feel lost on the course.

In short: A well organised half marathon. Will do it again.
In full: This was a nice flat half marathon, with a pretty large field of about 8,000 runners. It's a 2 lap course, which normally isn't my thing, but they made little adjustments to the second lap to prevent boredom. On the whole it's pretty flat, so has good PB potential, and the goody bag at the end is top notch. I'll be back to do it again next year.

In short: My best ever
In full: The 06' version of the race was amazing. The orginizers did their best and the final result was great (even though personaly I had some problems with the registration, but it was fixed as soon as I brought it up- so it's not worth mantioning). The atmosphere was unbelivable, the best I've been too (beats even the Amsterdam marathon- my former best). The course is not dead flat- but the good weather and the unbeliable support did the job and I've finished with a 45 sec' improvment on my PB (1:18:36).And you can add to it a great place for a vacation. To sum it up- the best!

In short: brilliant but hot for me on the day
In full: Really enjoyed myself but a bit disappointed that there was a discrepancy of 2 1/2 min between chip time and stopwatch I was wearing???!!

In short: Excellent first Half for me as training for FLM - Looking forward to other Half races
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed, started with sub 1:50 runners, came in at 1:34:49, so ecstatic for my first Half. Will start further up field at next race to hopefully break 1:30. Goody bags OK, organisation at runners village very good, mileage markers could have been more prominent but apart from that - Excellent, well done to all and thanks to all supporters.

In short: Excellant feeling and steady run, back next year
In full: My first Half. Wow, not a problem for me. I arrived early to get a parking space in a nearby car park. As a result no probs getting out. Plenty of refreshments on the course. Maybe more mile markers. But, hey I enjoyed it and thats all that matters to me.

In short: Too many runners trying to squeeze into a small start.
In full: I lined up at my hoped for finish time, what a mistake, I was slowed down from the start by slower runners in front of me. Last year with fewer runners I managed to get through quite early on, but not this time. A personal worst. On a positive note the support around the course was great, but it didn't make up for the disappointment of my poor performance which was only slightly better than last year. I may try again.

In short: Pretty flat, potentially fast course, big entry race - lots of local support
In full: If you like Big Races this is a good one to do. Course is surprisningly flat but a bit dull and industrial once out of the Georgian centre of Bath - particularly as two laps, spectacular location for start and finish however. Organisation seemed pretty good this year. Adequate drinks and water stations. Lots of spectator support even for 2hr + runners - it helps get you round. The only downside really was the entry fee.
