In short: my home race In full: cumbrian run is a good half, about 400 feet of climb overall so average undulating half. most of climb is within the first 3.5 miles then mostly flat from there on in - except 1 small hill at around 11.5 miles. good t-shirt and medal to finish, good crowd support. start slightly congested - but after 400 yards course opens up so its easy to overtake if u need 2. worth the congested start to run through the castle gates. entries now open for 2011, i'm in, cant wait for 2nd october 2011 Date of review: July 2, 2011

In short: Well organised, great weather, bit hilly, a good day. In full: Had a great run, no real problems, loved having my name called as i entered the stadium (well running track). I seem to be the only one to have found it hilly but still managed 1 hour 30 mins so I'm happy enough. Could have done with a sign at the car park for the finish as it was our first visit but thats a minor thing. See you next year. Date of review: October 11, 2010
