In short: my home race
In full: cumbrian run is a good half, about 400 feet of climb overall so average undulating half. most of climb is within the first 3.5 miles then mostly flat from there on in - except 1 small hill at around 11.5 miles. good t-shirt and medal to finish, good crowd support. start slightly congested - but after 400 yards course opens up so its easy to overtake if u need 2. worth the congested start to run through the castle gates. entries now open for 2011, i'm in, cant wait for 2nd october 2011

In short: so much better than last year, the weather was much kinder and a lot more support on route.the castle makes a lovely backdrop for the start and it was much better having runners only in the castle grounds.

In short: Well organised, great weather, bit hilly, a good day.
In full: Had a great run, no real problems, loved having my name called as i entered the stadium (well running track). I seem to be the only one to have found it hilly but still managed 1 hour 30 mins so I'm happy enough. Could have done with a sign at the car park for the finish as it was our first visit but thats a minor thing. See you next year.

In full: Really enjoyed the day. Loads of support throughout the route and some sunshine too. Despite having groin tendons tighter than guitar strings this morning I'm looking forward to next year already.

In short: Fantastic event, shame about the chip collection
In full: Fantastic Event, Organisation, Support and Atomosphere. Shame that the chips had to be collected early or the day before, not sure why they couldn't be posted!
