In short: Loved it
In full: This was my first proper race, and I don't think I could have enjoyed it more. Would have been nice to take in the sea front, and going round the same block two or three times was a bit soul destroying, but other than that I loved every second. The marshalling was superb.

In short: Nice morning out in Cleethorpes
In full: Would have been nice to at least see the sea! I thought the race would be more like the Mablethorpe 10k but that is really my problem!

Plenty of marshals, could have done with a PA for the pre-race announcements but made up for it with a starting pistol which shocked most.

Very cold but good fun!

In short: Enjoyable Despite my DNF
In full: Well done to Cleethorpes AC, the marshalls and volunteers for putting on another successful race this year. Unfortunately my race finished at around 1.5 miles due to tripping on a pot-hole in the road. That said, I did enjoy the short run, and will be back again next year to finish the coures ;o)

In short: Good to blow the christmas cobwebs off
In full: I was looking forward to doing this race for the first time, but was dissapointed that you actually ran through the housing estate rather than by the sea. Was extremely well marshalled and organised just a shame about the course.

In short: As always a pleasure to run
In full: Absolutely nothing to complain about, a pleasure to run every NYD. (The finish used to be where the retail units have been built so had to be moved back which also resulted in the first part of the course winding its way around the estate twice before heading out) Well done Cleethorpes AC.

In short: They did well to put in on as the weather has been so bad
In full: The club did well to gather so many enthusiastic marshals given the slippery pavements, freezing cold and sometimes biting wind.
The loudest starting blast I have encountered!
A bit slippy around the corners for the first two miles and then the roads were fine.

Nice bright (red) t-shirt.

The only gripe I have is that it was a long, long way back to the HQ from the finish on such a very cold day.

All in all a good way to start the year.

In short: Cracking way to start 2010! Smooth organisation, encouraging marshalls, and a decent t-shirt. Will definitely be back
