In short: Superb
In full: This is a challenging race with a steep hill to negotiate twice, but the scenery over the whole races makes this a lovely run to do.
You definitely feel you have earned your medal ! Recommended

In short: pretty and varied course
In full: I really enjoyed this race, lovely scenery and a good mix of surfaces. Some flat areas to get some nice speeds up and a short down hill section, incline up to the hill did go on and then a very steep hill but straight on to the flat! lovely run

In short: Good first attempt by the organisers
In full: Quite fun - but the inexperienced organisation showed, with most marshalls more interested in studying their mobiles/race details than in cheering on runners. Would have hoped for a bit more than a simple gong in return for the entry fee.

In short: The scenery does it for you if you recover from the climb.
In full: Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys off-road running.

In short: Beautiful scenery - well organised race
In full: Never seen so many marshals! What a well-organised race, everything had been thought of. Great to have use of the leisure centre so we could shower after. Course is absolutely beautiful - and challenging, no problem for the fit though. Would suggest that next year's results show age category and club - v hard if you are female vet to see where you came!

In short: Almost cross country
In full: It's probably lack of investigation on my part but I was expecting paths etc not a scramble up a grassy hill. Probably not the best race to attempt when recovering from injury and I'm sure I would have really enjoyed the scenery etc if I wasn't breathing out my arse! I'll be back to beat it now I know what to expect!
