In short: Opened my eyes to what life on a canal is like! In full: I ran both days. 90 miles along a canal is mentally tough without much to look forward to but another bit of canal! I did learn a lot about how canals work. I can't fault the organisation but it lacked a few touches that would have given it a 5. Excellent T that I am proud to wear. Date of review: April 11, 2010

In short: What a weekend!!! In full: I am relatively new to ultras and have never done a back to back run of this magnitude,so i have woken this morning to aches and pains i have never felt before, but they are nice pains. the race itself was a challenge and i salute all the proper runners along way ahead of me youre ability never ceases to amaze me. thanks to my running partner Jamiele who was a great motivation on sunday(we did it mate) and to all the crew on the checkpoints and to Rory and Jen thanks again. In short: A really well organised Ultra. technical t-shirt was a nice touch, and loved the malt loaf at the aid stations! In full: I nice low key affair. No pretence just a straight forward get on with it ultra race. With around 60 starters tackling the 45 mile course the field soon strung out but conversation was good and the scenery kept up the interest. A great race! Thanks Rory!
