In short: It helps if you're having a good day when running a Marathon, and fortunately Sunday was one of my 'good days'! In full: Beutifully scenic course helped stop the boredom factor creeping in when there weren't too many competitiors (104 Marathon finishers) and I cannot fault the organisation - excellent - plenty water stations and helpful, encouraging marshalls. In short: A well organised race, but no atmosphere In full: This is run as a combined marathon, 1/2 marathon and 10K. The organisation is exceptional: buses to the start of the 1/2m and 10K, regular water stations, marshalls, etc. were all great. I ran the 1/2 marathon - across an undulating, scenic, but windy course. It was a lonely run though - the only real support was in the last 100 metres. Date of review: September 1, 2004
