In short: Excellent organisation - this runs like clockwork (no mean feat considering the 1000s running!) A fast course, great marshalls and lots of support. Great race!
In full: I didn't find the water in cups an issue; the race was meticulously organised from the start to finish. The marshalls were grand, as was the local support. A special mention must be made for the lady guiding cars out of the rugby crowd - like balletic air traffic control :-) All this and a PB as well. A top morning out.

In short: View from a injured runner (marshall)
In full: How I normally run this race but got injured and marshalled instead and thought I’d give my perspective of a race from the other side of the fence. First of all I’ve got to say how much work goes into the race that people don’t know about both on and before the day. For example I got to the rugby ground at just before 8am and left after the last runner had crossed around 3ish and there were people there before and after me.
I was giving out the goody bags at the end cheering and congratulating the runners finishing the race. Like to thank the runners as virtually everyone gave us a thumbs up at the end or a simple thank you, means a lot guys.
1 suggestion which I tried make on the day but was told it wasn’t a good idea. The water/powerade stations should either be before the goody bags or a bottle of water should be in the bags themselves. I know from experience in this race how thirsty you are at the end and the last thing you need is to work out what size t-shirt you need when all you want is some water.
Great event, gutted I missed it and hope to be run it again next year

In full: first race post baby. really enjoyed it ( much more than the last time i ran it). really well organised. frequent marshalls. good supporters. water in a cup not a problem for me but i can see how it would be for others. onl gripe is the t-shirt! i like to have it written all over in large letters that i have completed a half marathon :)

In short: Great course and a great time of year
In full: Agree with earlier comments that bottled water would be a welcome addition....apart from that the event is spot on. Lovely course and the weather was perfect.
