In short: Great course and well done marshalls for standing around in the cold
In full: Really enjoyed this. Ideal conditions for running once you had warmed up. Nice flat course, and a big carbohydrate prize to recover with..

In short: Fabulous Fun
In full: A nice flat course, great weather, only downside was the drinks stations, very little in the cup. I suppose you could put that down to naivety on my part though, as most people appeared to carry there own. It was my first half and I chose it well, the vourse was very clear and easy, the weather was spot on for the time of year and the scenery was fantastic. The passing traffic was polite and courteous too, which was nice. The bread was slightly strange to be going home with though, though it was beautiful!

In short: Flast!
In full: NO real hills anywhere to speak of.

PB course mostly along quiet country lanes in the Welsh marches with a small part in through the Wrexham industrial estate.

Well marshalled and organised with plenty of water stops. Big thanks to those hardy souls who came out to support the runners. You must've been freezing!

I'll definitely be back again.

In short: Perfect Day
In full: If you want a flat fast course for a PB, this is the one!
Mostly quiet, scenic country lanes, so catch the weather right (cool, sunny, light breeze) and this becomes THE PERFECT half-mara :o)
Easy car-parking, well marshalled, 3 water-stops (at 4, 7 & 10 miles), small number of (but encouraging) spectators, results up quickly... the list of plus-points goes on and on...
I'll definitely be back.

In short: A perfect day for running and a great, fast course. Organisation was faultless and the Bara Brith at the finish makes it all worth while :)

In short: Flat, fast course. A real PB course.
In full: Well organised and in good weather difficult to imagine a faster course.

But allow time to find the place if travelling there by car for first time. Practically no signposts.
