In short: Damn quick!!!
In full: Had heard that this one was fast and the rumours were right! Well organised, almost pancake flat, very quick course on quiet roads and country lanes with barely any traffic. Excellent job Wrexham AC. Only suggestion would be to have a clock at the finish and get the results online a bit quicker.

In short: Excellent for first timers
In full: My first half marathon and a nice course to do the first on! Really flat nice roads and not much traffic.

Last 2 miles is mostly down hill so that helps a lot! Really well run and organized on the day.

In short: Fast and flatish.
In full: The milling around at the start was a bit weird, especially when the huge lorry approached the crowd. However, things went well when the race started and the marshalls were fine. Mile 10 drained so much energy due to the wind and it was a very gentle but relentless incline. The last mile is very fast. Good race for PBs.

In short: A guaranteed pb!
In full: A great race with fine scenery along flat country lanes. The occasional fine rain was great and I knocked 8 mins of my pb so i thoroughly enjoyed my day! thanks to the marshalls for the encouragement!

In short: Club race but friendly pretty flat and some nice country lanes
In full: Well marshalled - good encouragement.
Lots of drink stations. Nice course really apart from the bit around the industrial estate.
Good value overall - especially compared to some other half marathons.
Nice loaf at the end but some lasting momento would have been worth having -especially when you get a PB and want a keepsake.
I would just ask that some sort of sign be erected to say FINISH (A piece of card board on a stick would have made a big difference) because I was waiting for a 13mile marker and didn't see one so I thought there was about 300 yards to go about 10 yards from the finish line.

In short: Fastest Half around by far!!!!
In full: A tad under 13.1 but still a very good race!!. If you want a PB this is the race, would still prefer a medal or mug rather than a loaf. Good water stations and atmosphere. I heard the winner took a wrong turn so lost 1 1/2 mins and would have lost the race if he was`nt pointed in the right direction by one of my club mates. At the end of the day na great race plus a pb of 1.25 happy days all round!!!!

In short: Very pleasant run (of 12.98 miles?)
In full: Slightly laid-back organisation at the begining and end - no instructions at the start, no sign at the finish. I was waiting for my Garmin to go ping at 13 miles, but it never got that far! But there were plenty of encouraging marshalls, drinks on the way and Bara Brith at the end to take home. Thanks to all helpers, but please re-measure the course.
