In short: Excellent midweek well organised race with a PB course
In full: If you are after a PB at 5 or 10k then look no further than the QMR series. I have been running for 7 years now and have managed to PB twice this year at the QMR series (all 3 races quicker than any before). Good friendly organisation, around a simple route. Well done as usual to the purple patch team.

In short: Great race series for the veteran or novice!
In full: Well done Purple Patch on this series. I did the 5k as a set of time trials but I know a few of my friends mixed the races. It's a very flat course so made for speed, the only downsides being that you can see the whole route (can be demoralising if you're struggling) and you're at the mercy of the elements. Great atmosphere and really friendly.

In short: Meh
In full: Uninspiring course around a reservoir - being able to see for miles where you are about to run isn't fun!

In short: Good flat run. Birdlife and water to keep the mind distracted. Oh - and planes overhead :o)
In full: I ran faster than I have for ages on a 10km but the wind was pretty fierce, being up on the reservoir banks there. Everyone was friendly too.

In short: Spot on - could not be faulted
In full: A nice event on a traffic free event. Plently of parking, good HQ with baggage drop & cafe. One or two laps of the pancake lap reservoir with runners of all abilities. Luckly with the weather so enjoyed the 360 views. Good to have your name read out when you came through the finish. Nice event Purple Patch - well done.

In short: Fast and flat, but exposed so watch out for the wind.
In full: Liked the venue, and the surface. The view of the sun setting over the reservoir on the home straight was glorious.
Youve never seen so many permanent toilets at the start of a race. Plenty of other facilities too (cafe/bar/food).
Seemed to have a low turn out which knocked the atmosphere a bit. Nevertheless a big thanks to the organisers and marshalls. Roll on number 2.

In short: Thanks to the organisers for a nice evening's run
In full: First time doing this race. I will do it again as I have entered all 3 of the series. It was a nice, enjoyable race to turn up for. Organisation was very good. Route a little dull, but totally as expected. Good view of Windsor castle! Nice and fast and not congested with runners. Actually could have done with a few more maybe. Am interested to know the accuracy of the distance and timing - I am sure that it is fine but one always wonders...Think I pb-ed....waiting for results to go online.

In short: lovely scenic race
In full: The only race so far with excellent toilet facilities. Nice cafe at the end, could get a cup of tea before heading home. Overall very friendly race, as for course pebbly in places but track wide and not at all difficult to overtake. I will be back for race 3 for sure, maybe will do 2nd but that remains to be seen.
