In short: loved it! In full: This was such an enjoyable race, a very misleading start of 2 miles downhill! Then very hilly, hey but I enjoyed that in a sort of sadistic way! Beautiful rural countryside and a very cosy presentation afterwards with tea and cakes!
See you next year! Date of review: March 31, 2005

In short: Loved the setting - a secret, old-fashioned village you would never stumble upon otherwise. Course was on lovely country lanes with challenging hills and nice scenery the whole way. A little gem of a race. Date of review: March 26, 2005

In short: Challenging run - villagey atmosphere In full: First 10 miler. No grumbles about mixed measurements (Km) this time. Very challenging course. The first two miles down hill were fast but of course this couldn't last. Fairly small field but obviously a big event for the village. Village ladies making tea and sandwiches and Village hall as HQ. Very cosy. Only problem was distance of parking from registration, stll managed OK.
A nice medal too (much better than another tee shirt). Lovely scenery, friendly and very enjoyable. Is this event every easter or is it every end march?
Many thanks to the organisers. Date of review: March 26, 2005
