In short: Very enjoyable day and scenic run
In full: This was my first 10K run and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great and people in the village had come out to cheer everyone on as we ran back up to the village hall. I think there should be more distance markers as I only saw a couple but maybe that's a good thing! I would have preferred to have known my time straight away too. Overall, a fantastic day and I would definitely recommend taking part.

In short: Well organised family friendly event.
In full: Great return for this event which is well supported by the friendly locals.

Organisation was excellent - no problem with collecting number rather than it being posted.

Course is basically flat, an extra drink station was welcome. The finish on the playing field in front of a large crowd was a personal highlight (as was a pb).

This is a cracking race, looking forward to next year.

In short: Great race, kids loved the fun run and atmsphere.Back next year.
In full: Fantastic day. Done this race since it first started. Wife joined in this time and had a really good race. Great atmosphere at the start and finish. Lots of encouraging marshalls. Don't forget this is a very small village organising this event and what they do is fantastic. Always things to improve on - PA system, timing system. As a family event it's the best.

In short: Hot but enjoyable race day
In full: Fantastic marshalling really positive, TWO refreshment stops (helpful with the heat today) and lovely community atmosphere (bouncy castle, families, burgers, cakes, teas, raffle, plant sale).
Only downside was no drinks at the finish line but inside the building (those 50 odd metres enough to kill me by then!)

In short: Brilliant local race. Very friendly.
In full: Great organisation and marshalling and undulating enough to be challenging. I love the friendly atmosphere, the cakes, burgers and drinks. Looking forward to next year!
