In short: A bit of challenge but hopefully good work in prep for FLM. Road surfaces much better than those I get to train on at home.

In short: Very well organised race
In full: Enjoyed this race and finished 22 minutes quicker than last year! Very well marshalled, fantastic goody bag and a choice of colours for the sweatshirt - what more could you want.

In short: Seemed to be about 75% uphill. Hard work for a beginner. Hopefully will reap benefit at FLM in April.

In short: Ideal pre marathon warm up race
In full: Very well organised race round a not too challenging rural course. Watch out for the fast downhill first mile and a half if you are trying out your marathon pace.

In short: Very well organised event on a good testing course.
In full: Lap one lulls you into a false sense of security - lap two tests your stamina to the limit! A great test for a spring marathon.

Big thanks to all the marshalls, out there in the cold all day. Expertly organised, the only gripe for me was that my goodie bag was half empty compared with others.

I have next years race pencilled in already.
