In short: A nice flat course by a road and through some more countryside areass
In full: Worth doing if live within an hour. Not worth travelling miles for.

In short: Would definitely do again but mainly because it's a local run - was great as a first time 10k.

In short: Decent small event worth doing
In full: Very good value event, with a T-shirt, banana & water waiting as a reward at the end. Why do other event fail to meet that standard for much higher entry fees?

Some of the marshals were doing an excellent job of marshaling (keeping runners safe & showing encouragement), a couple of them on important junctions were maybe busy thinking about something else?

Good crowd support at the start/middle/end point.

In short: Fast course, well organised
In full: Any race where the mayor hands out the T-shirts and medals can't be bad. Even with a strongish breeze this was a pb potential course.

One slight gripe would be that there weren't enough marshalls, and those that were present could have been deployed on busier junctions.

In short: Good race, well organised.
In full: Having a limit of 350 runners makes for a nice club type atmosphere with everyone chatting at the start. The course was well marshalled, but is not as flat as is sometimes made out. There is a very long but shallow climb at 1-2 and 6-7km and a further shallow to moderate climb at around 4 and 8km. It's still a very quick course, but there are quicker ones out there...

Nice touch to have the commander of RAF Brize Norton to start the race and for the mayor to hand out the medals, plus the T-Shirt was unusually decent with a bottle of water and banana thrown in for good measure!

In short: Scenery not exciting, but atmosphere and fairly flat course make up for it
In full: First time at this for me. Thought it was all very well organised and everybody seemed really friendly. Course was pretty flat - a couple of gentle climbs (one on each lap), but definite promise for a PB (if only I'd trained harder!). Scenery nothing to write home about, but definitely worth turning out for.

In short: Full credit to the organisers, a race well worth doing.
In full: I liked the two lap course, traffic free and, in the right conditions, ideal for a good time.Atmosphere was great, food was very welcome afterwards. A race to return to next year. Well done organisers.

In short: Who cares about the suburban pavements when your flying so fast you can't see them!
In full: A good fast race, understated but effective organisation ran without a hitch, generous t-shirt water and banana, with a medal from the mayor, and a reasonable stretch on a long country lane to break the otherwise suburban scenery.
