In short: Why does the results list stop at 1hr 6 mins????? 2008 race
In full: Having read this on a fellow runner's rating I will not be running this race again. I was pleased with my 1hr 8 mins - and thought that the race was open for 1 hr 30 mins according to the literature. Why then does the provisional results list stop at 1 hr 6 mins?? If the Round Table thought that there were only 799 runners no wonder they ran out of T shirts, medals, water etc..........

In short: Good Fun Race, though large numbers mean a slow start and a hard right turn afer 100 Metres doesn't help.

In short: With good weather, marvellous, however with the flooding in some parts it was more a cross-country run, quite slippery going down the hills

In short: My first 10K. The start needs to be improved and boy are some of the hills a killer but overall a challenging run.
In full: A good course, quite hilly and the last steep hill on Rousebarn Lane brings all those except the semi-pros to a near standstill. After that it is hard to sprint finish. The start is disorganised and would benefit from a staggered start with individual chips.

In short: very good race very hilly in places but lovely countryside and very welcome reception for slower runners
In full: I found this race difficult, i am used to running through woods so enjoyed that bit although it was quite hilly at times!!!
i did the great south run last year and struggled more with this.
Good atmosphere at the end for us slower runners.
scenery amazing i will definately go back there to train for my next 10k.
Have a go it is good to make those muscles ache.

In short: Well worth doing again - if only for mad dash start - who was first to the corner?
In full: did PB! did suffer from Cassiobury Park Delusion Syndrome i.e. that once you get to the top of the climb that it is a short trot to finish, when in fact it's still 1.5 km to go! The big yellow signs seem not to have helped cure the problem, again.

In short: Challenging and muddy
In full: Very nice scenery, start was a bit chaotic with no clear demarcation, and a bit crowded, tough hill in the middle, lots of mud and a bit less friendly than most.
