In short: Beautiful race, killer hills at end
In full: This race was really beautiful. Very hot day & the marshalls were fantastic, really encouraging and the cold sponges were a life saver. The three large hills at the end were really tough but worth it when you got to choose your free cake at the end! The organisation was very good, I will be back next year.

In short: A really great event!
In full: This being my first real big event i wasnt to sure what to expect but was really impressed!! The route was very scenic and enjoyable(although the 3 hills at the end didnt feel it at the time!), the event was well organised with plenty of well stocked water stations & encouraging marshalls..I especially liked the cakes at the finish!! I hope to participate in this race again next year!!

In short: One of my fave training runs, but the weather this year made for a disappointing time.
In full: fab cakes, great marshalls, excellent organisation, lovely venue, super value for money, bla, bla, bla. My only gripe relates to the grumpiness of my fellow runners. Generally seemed a humourless bunch this year!

In short: Great route round Bewl water, the hills near the end are tough.
In full: A bit cramped to start with as you would expect with 600 plus runners down a country lane. Other than that has to be one of my favourite, if not my favourite race (this was my first time at Bewl). The weather was nice and sunny if a bit hot but the shaded parts were most welcomed. The water were in good supply and sponge stations were most welcome! If I'd known what lovely cakes were at the end I'd have increaed the pace, as those were worth the effort alone and I'll be back next year for more (and I'm still thinking of those cakes now!!).
