In short: Not easy but enjoyable
In full: First 'proper' race in over 20 years and brought back good memories. Organisation was really good and the track finish was a nice touch.

In short: Great 10k in Bolton with a fast track finish!
In full: What a great race! This is my 4th attempt at this race, and I was determined to break 50 minutes! I like the fact the time has moved to 9am (this might have happened last year, but I didn't attend then), which gave me chance to get back home to see the London Marathon. Great organisation by Nick and his team - as usual. This time, the technology had increased to using electronic chips. Not something that I welcome, I'm afraid, as it puts the price up (:-( I particularly enjoyed the finish, as I heard another runner (Darren Reynolds) come screaming up the track in the last 20 yeards, which made me speed up. This year I took advantage of the free massage, whcih has meant no after run aches!
Next time, I'll break 50 minutes!

In short: Best organisation yet
In full: 3rd time in this race, and the chip timing and change to finish made an already well organised race even better, grat T shirt too. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I got nowhere near the PB I was hoping for. Will be back next year.
