In short: As I was saying before Bill Gate sabotaged by attempt... the first 8 miles are uphill. Great race and probably a chance of a personnel best. Bag at the end with edible stuff in as well, why hasn't anyone thought of that before. Great. In full: Why won't the year filed let me enter 2005? Date of review: May 22, 2005

In short: Nice not to hard off road course, well organised In full: Lovely course on old railway tracks through the White Peak, prob 10 mins slower at least than on raod but not too hard course although three downhills in last 6 miles are hard on the quads.
Well organised and friendly, nice small field. Doing it again next time. Date of review: January 23, 2005

In short: Biased, as I'm a local anyway, but most uplifting race run all of last year. Some cheeky sections (thankfully) near the end. Date of review: January 20, 2005

In short: If you love big races with thousands of runners and spectators then this is not for you. Plenty of space to run, fantastic scenery. A race to inspire the most jaded runner. Date of review: August 24, 2004
