In short: Super, well organised race
In full: Have done all the York JT races and it never disappoints, though is getting busier which made leaving the area a bit slow. Be nice to get age group result otherwise love the T-shirt and medal.
My son did the 3k which he enjoyed, again would be nice to get an official time as some (including mine) of the children had club vests on.
We will be back next year!

In short: Great race with the usual Run For all Problems.
In full: Very fast and scenic course through the very heart York, as well as a great section alongside the river. Expensive for a 10K at £26 but it does include a very central course, 2 water stations plus a medal and t-shirt.
The one complaint is that, as with other Run For All events there is very little emphasis on sorting people into an appropriate starting order. This is not a fun run and it is not advertised as one, so the commentators should do more to discourage the old ladies with fairy wings from standing in the sub 40 minute section. Many stories of bad traffic and congestion going around. Would still do it again in a flash, though.

In short: Gorgeous route, quick and not *too crowded
In full: What a stunning route around possibly the most beautiful city in the country. Lovely carnival atmosphere at the start area to keep wifey and children occupied. A great race for first timers and those chasing a new pb alike.

In short: Scenic course through York, flat and fast as you like
In full: Great race for both beginners and seasoned runners. Well organised, the Run for All Events team know how to put on a great race and what people expect. Nice touch with the event village for spectators and kids whilst waiting for their runner. Quality T-shirt, medal and energy drink for all finishers.

In short: This is a must fun run being a conducted tour of York
In full: An excellent start venue at York Racecourse with bags of parking and a picnic atmosphere on
the grass.
The weather was warm and attracted masses of cheering supporters around the route. This event is possibly the best of the three Tomlinson ones which are held annually in Yorkshire.
The medal and t-shirt were of good quality.
Recommended to one and all!

In short: scenic
In full: my 2nd JT run this year, seemed better organised, better atmosphere and certainly friendlier than the earlier Hull JT run(i am from Hull). Very scenic and hillier than i'm used to and expected, however still managed to knock over 2mins off my PB.

In short: Really good race, well organised, strange not to get a proper t-shirt when the Leeds half marathon gave one. Other than that wee tiny (and not really relevant!) complaint, I'd definitely do it again!
