In short: Organisation from parking to finishing the race was excellent. A friendly atmosphere with great marshalls, shouting support. Only grumble is areas where passing runners is impossible, but overall a great race.

In short: this is the 4th year on the trot that i have run, and have enjoyed it each year, even though the hill out of Saffron Walden to Littlebury gets me every time!!

In short: Strider myself so a little biased but a great run with helpful people.
In full: p.b. of a minute and 10 seconds, looking at the course I wouldn't have called it a pb course but I've run mine there two year in a row.

In short: Loved it. Nice and scenic, and some gentle hills to slog up. Bit narrow in places, but otherwise a real goodie.

In short: The hill at 4k comes as a nasty surprise as you turn the corner!

In short: First ever race and the organisers couldn't have made it better for me.
In full: First ever race so I was apprehensive at first (where do I park, where do I change, Is there a drink station etc), but clear signs and friendly, efficient officials made it very easy. Some rough underfoot terrain on some of the paths and a couple of demanding hills made it much more of a challenge than my usual road running. It appears that someone had moved a marker arrow so some of the leaders took the wrong route, but in the middle of the pack I didn't have any problems.
This has left me eager to race again and I will definitely compete in Saffron Walden next year.

In short: Unexpected PB - rumours that distance a tad short but still great fun
