In short: Yes a tough race but well worth trying!!
In full: This race was well organised with plenty of marshals. The only downside I could see was a lack of toilets. People resorted to the bushes, as usual, but because the race is set in the grounds of a school for young people with disabilities this was rightly frowned upon.

I have done this race before but forgot just how hard the ‘undulating’ course was! I did hear someone at the start say that if you weren’t running up a hill then you’d be running down one, that wasn’t too far from the truth! But don't let this put you off, go for the challenge!

Obviously the good weather made the race slightly harder fort he athletes even if it was good news for spectators.

Nice course, 3 water stations, good marshals and a medal what more can you ask for??

In short: Well-organized, scenic race with challenging course
In full: Would definitely do this again. In fact it's made me wonder why I do long runs on my own - just need to find a nice race like this every week.

In short: The downhills did for me! Well marshalled, 3 water stations, medal , friendly runners - what more do you need!.
In full: Wow - undulating.... Hills up were mostly long, good gradients with one noticeable exception. The downhills for everyone else seemed good and worth the effort put in on the ups. Good varied field with everything from elite to more social runners included. No snobbery from anyone, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. Okay so it's a tough race (it was my first!) but it's definetly not boring and the marshalls and locals were great at cheering you on.
Only issue was maybe the number of toilets, but to be honest everyone who needed to go, did and then the race started!
Pleased I finished - now looking for a nice flat race to follow up with.

In short: Great, challenging course with lots to keep you interested.
In full: Very well organised great value for money scenic race.
I've completed this many times before and it never disapoints. I was a little anxious beforehand, remebereing the climbs but on the day the course seemed a lot easier than my memory served me.
Lovely weather and nice to get under the hour.
